A Nice Hike on a Cloudy Day

Yesterday I took a hike with Dave S. at Deer Creek Canyon Park, a nice place I'd never been before.  It was supposed to have been a sunny day, which would have been nice, but it didn't turn out that way.  Nonetheless it was enjoyable to get out and get some exercise and see Dave again.  Thanks for showing me this place, Dave!  The trail was quite icy in some spots which made for some tricky ascents and descents but I only fell on my butt once.  Luckily no major damage other than to my pride.  Afterward we went to a nearby brewery ("Blue Spruce", very nice!) and enjoyed a game of chess over a couple of beers and sandwiches. 

Maybe now you'll think twice about making a funny face when I'm taking a picture , Dave!
